Israeli Air Attacks on Lebanon Kill at Least Four

Israeli air attacks on southern Lebanon have killed at least four people and injured around 20 others, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry. The strikes hit several areas, including Arab Salim, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Nabatieh and Kfar Reman.

Two women were reported killed in an air strike on Arab Salim, while two other people were killed in a separate strike on Nabatieh al-Fawqa. Emergency teams continued treating those injured and assessing damage caused by the attacks.

Israel said the strikes were carried out in response to what it described as a Hezbollah drone attack targeting Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. Lebanese authorities, however, condemned the latest attacks as a dangerous escalation.

The attacks come amid continued tensions in southern Lebanon despite recent ceasefire and diplomatic agreements aimed at reducing fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
