Algeria’s Civil Defence has recovered the body of a 10-year-old boy from a well following a rescue and recovery operation.
Emergency teams were deployed to the scene after receiving reports that the child had fallen into the well. Civil Defence personnel carried out an operation to reach and retrieve him, but the boy was sadly pronounced dead.
The incident has drawn attention to the dangers posed by uncovered or poorly secured wells, particularly for children. Authorities often urge families and communities to ensure that wells are properly covered and protected to prevent similar tragedies.
