Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has gifted Malam Usman Aliyu, the husband of the late Ummulkhairi an Islamiyya teacher who was killed in Maraban Jos a new house to help him rebuild his life after the tragedy.
If you recall, the late Malama Ummulkhairi was killed when some miscreant youths attacked her over allegations of child kidnapping in Maraban Jos in Kaduna State. The suspects are currently in police custody.
Governor Uba Sani handed over the documents of the new house to Malam Usman during a thank-you visit he paid him, accompanied by Sheikh Haliru Maraya.
Earlier, shortly after the incident occurred, the Governor and his entourage were seen when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased, and assured them that the Kaduna State Government would not limit itself to only words of sympathy.
In addition to gifting a house to the family of the deceased, he also gave them financial support. Likewise, the Kaduna State Government has pledged to take responsibility for the education of the late woman’s children until they complete their schooling, out of compassion and to ensure they have a good future.
The Governor described the step he took as part of his administration’s efforts to support families that have faced such tragic incidents and to help them recover and rebuild their lives.
