Thousands of APC supporters held a rally in Ilorin, Kwara State, to show support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party's governorship candidate, Engineer Salihu Yakubu Danladi, ahead of the 2027 elections.
The rally, tagged "Kwara APC Ndupe Rally" and organized by the Kwara
Progressives group, drew supporters and party stalwarts from the state's three senatorial districts.
The demonstrators marched through major streets of Ilorin before converging at the APC state secretariat, where they declared their backing for Tinubu and other party candidates.
Speaking to journalists, the coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors group in Kwara, Abdullateef Gidado Alakawa, praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his leadership, stating that the large turnout at the rally demonstrated the confidence the public has in the APC and its candidates.
The rally was attended by the APC governorship candidate, Engineer Salihu Yakubu Danladi, and other party aspirants, with organizers saying it is part of efforts to solidify APC support across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
