In his remarks, Mallam Abdulaziz Abdulaziz said the summit was organized to strengthen dialogue between the government, the public, and the media.
He also called on social media users to verify the authenticity of information before posting, especially ahead of the 2027 elections.
He further revealed that over 100 APC media aides were trained before the summit, alongside the launch of the "Gani Ya Kori" initiative to showcase major developmental projects executed by the federal government and northern state governors.
In his own address, the Governor of Kano, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, called on other states to emulate his program of creating SSR and SR reporters, through which he has deployed over 150 youths to ministries, agencies, and local governments to improve government information dissemination and public awareness.
