More than 900 people have been killed in Gaza this year as a result of Israeli attacks, despite a ceasefire agreement, according to new figures released by the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry.
The deaths have brought the total number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire was declared on October 10 to more than 1,300, including 301 children, the ministry said.
Hamas and Israel agreed to halt the war after accepting a 20-point peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The plan included a suspension of all military operations, including airstrikes and artillery bombardments.
Since then, BBC Verify has analysed several videos showing the aftermath of Israeli attacks at different locations, including a seaside café, tents housing displaced people and a reported funeral procession in central Gaza.
The figures indicate that recent months have been among the deadliest, with more than 100 deaths recorded each month between April and August.
The Gaza Health Ministry attributed the deaths directly to Israeli military attacks, although its figures do not distinguish between civilians and combatants.
