Since Saturday, August 29, joint troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have continued to relentlessly crack down on the gang members of terrorist leader Kachalla Maha in the Matazu area.
On that Saturday, troops launched a raid against him, neutralizing several of his senior commanders, including a notorious young man known as Smally who had been terrorizing the region. Smally was notorious for leading from the front whenever atrocities were committed. By God's grace, he too bit the dust.
On the same day, troops successfully shot the gang leader, Kachalla Maha, who fled with gunshot wounds to save his life.
Troops successfully seized three machine guns, two AK-47 rifles, and 11 magazines. Furthermore, 180 rounds of ammunition were recovered, while the remaining bandits fled, abandoning six motorcycles.
Shortly after this success, troops launched another night raid on his hideout after uncovering its location, killing several more of his top commanders, including Naziru, Mansur Mai Jama'a, and a prominent commander known as Mamiyo.
As of now, Kachalla Maha is in extreme panic, as he remains on the run for his life.
