The presidential candidate of the ADC party, Peter Obi, has said he is ready to sacrifice his life to protect his votes in the 2027 election.
Speaking at a stakeholders' meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Thursday, Obi called on Nigerians to thwart any attempt at electoral fraud.
He urged Nigerians to come out and vote while preventing any efforts at intimidation or vote rigging.
He also stated that ways would be found to reduce the issues with the voter verification device, IReV, that were experienced in the 2023 election.
On his part, the former governor of Kano and Obi's running mate, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, warned Nigerians not to make the mistake again of electing inexperienced leaders, adding that even the APC party, which has many governors, could be defeated in 2027.
