The prominent public affairs commentator, journalist, and writer in Kano, Bello Muhammad Sharada, has passed away at the age of 56.
Sharada died on Saturday at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, after a brief illness.
The deceased was renowned for his commentary and analysis on political affairs and other issues concerning Nigeria, particularly on social media, including Facebook.
Bello Sharada was a political supporter of the former Governor of Kano State, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.
Throughout his life, he played a role in fostering public discourse through his writings and commentaries on political transitions and other national affairs.
Following his death, friends, colleagues, and the wider community have expressed their condolences, describing the deceased as a man passionate about writing and contributing to public enlightenment.
His funeral is scheduled to take place at 8:00 am on Sunday at Sharada Fegi, within Kano Municipal Local Government Area, according to Islamic rites.
The deceased is survived by his family and other relatives.
