The persistent attacks by bandits on communities in Unguwar Guru, Hayin Kwanta Walawa, Yantari, Tudun Wulli, Sukuntuni and other neighbouring villages in Rimaye District have forced many families to flee their homes in search of safety.
Today, many of these victims are taking refuge with relatives in Rimaye and other relatively safe communities, facing enormous hardship after losing access to their homes and livelihoods.
In response to this humanitarian situation, the Progressive Like Minds (PLM), under the leadership of Alhaji Tijjani Rabe, distributed 250 bags of 20kg grains to the affected families to help ease their suffering.
While this intervention provides temporary relief, we pray for an end to the menace of banditry, the restoration of peace and security across our communities and the safe return of every displaced family to their ancestral homes.
May Almighty Allah (SWT) protect our people, grant lasting peace to our land and abundantly reward everyone who contributed to this noble humanitarian effort. Ameen.
