A Russian drone strike on a warehouse near Kyiv, Ukraine, has killed at least 27 people and injured dozens more, according to Ukrainian officials.
The strike hit a warehouse in Myla, in the Bucha district near Kyiv, triggering a major explosion and fire. Nearby homes and other infrastructure were damaged, and hundreds of residents were evacuated from the area.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the warehouse contained ammunition and other military materials. He also announced investigations into whether explosives had been stored too close to residential areas.
The attack came amid continued Russian drone and missile strikes across Ukraine, with Kyiv and surrounding areas experiencing several consecutive days of attacks.
