A Russian missile and drone attack on the southern Ukrainian port city of Odesa has killed three people and injured several others, according to Ukrainian authorities.
Officials said the overnight assault damaged residential buildings, port infrastructure, and other civilian facilities. Emergency services were deployed to rescue survivors and extinguish fires caused by the strikes.
At the same time, Ukraine announced that it had carried out attacks on vessels operating in the Black Sea, saying the ships were being used to support Russia's military operations and logistics. Ukrainian officials described the strikes as part of efforts to weaken Russia's naval capabilities and disrupt military supply routes.
