President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the Hausa people as pillars who play a crucial role in ensuring national unity and the development of Nigeria.
Tinubu stated that the Hausa people are instrumental in strengthening cohesion and fostering the country's growth.
The President also noted that the Hausa language has experienced tremendous growth, becoming one of the major languages for communication and trade in Nigeria and other parts of the world.
Tinubu made these remarks in a congratulatory message for Hausa Day, which is being celebrated today at the palace of the Emir of Daura.
He said: "I congratulate the great Hausa community on Hausa Day, being celebrated today at the historic palace of Daura."
The President also commended the Hausa people for their contributions toward ensuring Nigeria's unity and progress.
