Donald Trump Says ‘Final Determination’ to Be Made on Possible Iran Deal

U.S. President Donald Trump has said a “final determination” will soon be made regarding a possible agreement between the United States and Iran, as negotiations continue amid deep mistrust between the two countries.

Trump said he was meeting with top advisers in the White House Situation Room to make a final decision on a proposed framework agreement that could extend the current ceasefire and help reopen the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

According to reports, the proposed arrangement includes discussions on Iran’s nuclear program, maritime security, and measures aimed at reducing tensions in the region. U.S. officials have indicated that a preliminary framework has been discussed, but the agreement still requires approval from both American and Iranian leadership.

Despite Trump’s optimism, Iranian officials have stated that no final agreement has been reached. Tehran has stressed that it will judge any deal based on concrete actions rather than promises, while continuing to review proposals presented through ongoing diplomatic channels.

The negotiations come after months of conflict and tensions involving the United States, Iran, and regional allies, including disputes over Iran’s nuclear activities and security in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil shipping routes.

Analysts say a successful agreement could ease regional instability and reduce pressure on global energy markets. However, significant disagreements remain, and both sides continue to express skepticism about each other’s intentions.
