Iran Threatens To Strike Gulf Energy Facilities After South Pars Attack

Iran has threatened to launch attacks on key energy facilities in the Gulf region following a strike on its major gas field at South Pars.

Reports indicate that the attack widely attributed to Israel caused damage to parts of the facility, which is one of the largest natural gas fields in the world. In response, Iranian officials warned that they could retaliate by targeting energy infrastructure in neighboring Gulf countries.

Iranian authorities also advised people and workers to stay away from major oil and gas installations in the region, warning that such sites could become targets at any time.

The escalation has heightened global concerns, especially in energy markets, where oil prices have risen amid fears of disruptions to supply chains.

Analysts warn that if the situation continues to worsen, it could significantly impact global energy supplies, given the strategic importance of the Gulf region in oil and gas production.
