Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara Is Facing Clear Injustice, Said Abdul'aziz Tal'udiy Haidara

Anyone who claims there is a misunderstanding with Sheikh AbdulJabbar will not be like us, and anyone who criticizes his views and teachings will not reach our level. This is clearer than the sun, except that we limit the disagreement and difference of opinion between us and him to mere intellectual divergence, not hatred.

However, if we are to speak fairly before God, there is some envy and hatred that have influenced their hearts, leading them to fiercely oppose what he rightfully did. Now they have become so blind that they say they see no injustice being done to Malam AbdulJabbar.

From the very beginning, attributing the statements of Malam AbdulJabbar to insulting the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was the greatest initial injustice. There is a difference between bad manners due to a mistake and bad manners intentionally, and then outright insult.

If there is confusion, it can be found in the first two, but there is no confusion in insult—everyone knows the words of an insult. Yet, they falsely accused him of insult, knowingly.

After that, a debate was arranged, and it was said that he would be given sufficient time to defend himself. Later, a debate of mere minutes was arranged, diverting from the main issue to accusations of wording and the fundamentals of his teaching.

Then, a member of Izala was brought to act as a judge in the debate, which was neither appropriate nor just. In the end, they wrote that he failed to defend himself.

The government arrested him without any plan, in a deceptive manner, not according to the law. The government arraigned him before a court, and the trial was dragged on unnecessarily, suggesting it should be concluded through hanging.

Then, after that, the court passed a kind of death sentence on him, and it falsely claimed there was a clear text in the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), while everyone knows he did not commit what he was accused of, even if he made mistakes in interpretation and likening.

Then, he was given the opportunity to appeal, but it was denied, and the judicial process was prevented from proceeding.

Yet, despite this, some say that Malam is speaking recklessly, saying no injustice was done to AbdulJabbar, while if such injustices were done to the head of the household and his team member, he would be the first to insult, vilify, and show hatred to the government that led such actions.

What we are telling the governments to know is that we are not ignorant. We have read the law and understand the laws contained in the constitution of this country.

Under which law is a person denied the right to express his religious opinion anywhere in the world?

In fact, the reason we respect the democratic system is because it gives everyone the opportunity to express their views and understanding. If so, then for what reason are non-Muslims left to practice their religion as they see fit, but Malam is arrested for his views and sentenced to death for an opinion without any value in your eyes?

Truthfully, 75% of Mallams do not have the enlightenment we have, whereby we can restrain the heat of argument through verbal speech without transgressing against the opponent's honor, even if it concerns his dignity or bloodline.

But we will not turn a blind eye while we see the dignity of Muslim scholars being trampled upon in the name of protecting creed. As long as we are alive and breathing, there is no scholar, unless he is a criminal, whom we will not watch over if he is being unjustly arrested in such a manner.

Malam AbdulJabbar is facing clear injustice, and God willing, the end of this injustice will come with God's permission, and he will be freed from prison.

Today, Wednesday, November 20, 2025, I went to an area in Abuja where I followed and entered the prison where Malam AbdulJabbar is being detained, but I did not get to see him due to the unfavorable visiting time.

I must not behave like Yahya and his followers, with whom we are struggling over our creed now. I am not part of any plan to harm him, nor to prevent him from the freedom to preach, because ideas are countered with ideas, not with the force of the government.

My call to the governments at all levels is to fear God and release God's servant, Malam AbdulJabbar, so he can return to his family, and to refrain from such interference in the future.

O God, hasten the relief for him. We pray that God hastens his deliverance, for the sake of our Master, the Messenger of God (peace be upon him)."
