Gombe State University (GSU) has promised automatic employment to 19-year-old Maryam Ibrahim Dan’Azumi, winner of the international Qur’an recitation competition in Saudi Arabia, as soon as she completes her studies.
Maryam, currently a 300-level student studying Physics Education at the university, received this offer from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta.
Professor Yauta announced this while congratulating her on her achievement, assuring her that the university will continue to support her until she completes her studies.
He added that she will be offered a position at the university upon completing her bachelor's degree to contribute to the institution and serve as a role model for other youth.
