The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Has Launched a Scholarship Scheme for Healthcare Students in Katsina State.

In a major effort to contribute to the development of education and healthcare services, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari has launched the Ibrahim Kabir Masari Medical Students Scholarship (IKMSS) to support Katsina State students pursuing degrees in medicine and other health science disciplines.

This scholarship scheme was created to provide support and encouragement to Katsina indigenes studying medical and health-related programs across accredited Nigerian universities.

Under this initiative, a new online portal was announced. Through this platform, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari aims to contribute to training a new generation of skilled healthcare professionals who will play a vital role in improving health services and overall community well-being.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters outlined the core eligible disciplines covered by the scholarship, which include:
 * Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)
 * Dentistry
 * Nursing Science
 * Pharmacy
 * Medical Laboratory Science
 * Physiotherapy
 * Radiography
 * Optometry
 * Anatomy
 * Physiology
 * Other accredited medical and health-related courses.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
 * Must be an indigene of Katsina State.
 * Must be a student at an accredited Nigerian university.
 * Must be enrolled in an approved medical or health-related discipline.
 * Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
 * Must prepare complete academic credentials and verification documents.
