Former Gang Leader Keffe D Found Guilty of Tupac's Murder
A court in Las Vegas has found Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the former leader of the South Side Compton Crips gang, guilty of orchestrating the murder of famous American rapper Tupac Shakur.
Tupac was shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, and passed away six days later.
Prosecutors accused Davis, arguing that he procured the gun and handed it to Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, who was suspected of firing into Tupac's vehicle at the time.
Based on this, the 12-member jury concluded that Davis was involved in planning the murder. Now 63 years old, he faces a potential sentence of life in prison.
Sentencing has been scheduled for October 13.
