As political consultations intensify in Gombe State, the gubernatorial aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, CON, paid a courtesy visit to retired jurist Hon. Justice Mu'azu Abdulqadir Pindiga at his residence in Gombe on Monday, September 21, 2026.
The visit was aimed at soliciting fatherly guidance, moral support, and solidarity as Professor Pantami advances his campaign to "rescue and rebuild" Gombe State on the PDP platform.
Addressing his host, Professor Pantami described Justice Pindiga as an eminent elder statesman, a champion of justice, and a proud son of Gombe whose contributions to both the state and the nation remain indelible.
"We are here to seek your counsel, wisdom, and blessings as we embark on this vital mission for the future of our state," Pantami stated, reaffirming his pledge to prioritize inclusive governance, social justice, youth empowerment, and infrastructure development if granted the mandate.
In his remarks, Justice Pindiga expressed appreciation for the visit and lauded the former minister for his intellectual depth, courage, and track record of public service. The retired justice offered prayers for divine guidance and success in Pantami's quest to serve the citizens of Gombe State.
