Information About the Human Brain and Its Functions

The brain is responsible for processing all the information that is inherent within us and that surrounds us. For instance, it is the brain that distinguishes and identifies things for you, such as their names, sizes, positions, colors, purposes, values, and all other attributes associated with them.

Human Brain

It is what makes you aware of the weather, whether it is cold, hot, or moderate. It makes you aware of every state you find yourself in. It oversees the major functions that sustain your life, such as breathing, blood circulation, nutrient distribution, movement, and others.

Experts' estimates indicate that in a single second, the brain processes and analyzes over one million pieces of information. Among these, it separates the useful from the useless, and then organizes how they should be handled without wasting time, all within the blink of an eye. This remarkable wonder of the brain has cast doubt in the hearts of those who are not convinced of God's existence, for they are asked the question: "How can it be said that a computer, which is incomparably less amazing when compared to the human brain, must have a maker, yet the brain itself is said to have made itself?"

The human brain has a minimum storage capacity of about two and a half million Gigabytes (2.5 Million Gigabytes). This is certainly the bare minimum, for truly, regarding the capacity of some brains, only God (Allah) is the All-Knowing.
