On the morning of Monday 13/07/2026, we received a report that armed bandits/kidnappers invaded the village of Dankado, which is located behind Sabon Layi town in Musawa Local Government Area. This is almost the third time they have come to the village to cause havoc.
But this time, the bandits managed to shoot one person named Mansur. They also met two other people, Ƙasimu and Jamilu, working on a farm and killed them instantly.
Mansur was rushed to the hospital for treatment. As for Jamilu and Kasimu, we pray that Allah forgives them.
As of now, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, it is suspected to be either the boys of Kachalla Muhammadu who control the Matazu forests, or Wada who is in charge of the Musawa forests. But suspicion is leaning more toward Wada.
