The 86th minute, the African teams' minute

As the World Cup Round of 32 matches continue. If you haven't forgotten, nine of the ten African teams qualified for this stage after one team was eliminated in the group stage.

In yesterday's matches, 3 African teams were eliminated:
DR Congo, who had their hearts broken by the England team in the 86th minute after they had first scored against England. In the end, the match finished 2-1, which meant DR Congo had to go home as spectators in the tournament.

Then there's the Ivory Coast team, who were beaten by Norway in the 86th minute. After the game was 1-1 up until that point, everything changed in that minute. Haaland packed up Ivory Coast's things and told them to go back to Africa to regroup ahead of the next 4 years.

Senegal beat Belgium 2-0 up to the 51st minute, but unfortunately, by the 86th minute the story had completely changed. Because by that time the game had become tough and tense. Belgium woke up and scored all their goals to make it 2-2. Then in the 30 minutes of extra time, Belgium scored 1 more goal which gave them the chance to advance to the Round of 16. Meanwhile, Senegal, the holders of the Africa Cup of Nations, packed up their things, left the World Cup and went back home.
