The presidential candidate of the NDC party, Peter Obi, has stated that if elected president, he will curb irregularities in government administration while improving the lives of Nigerians.
Obi made this known in a post on his X account, where he said his plan would focus on national unity, peace, justice, and sustainable development.
He said his administration would prioritize the education and health sectors, while establishing a special committee to reduce the number of out-of-school children. Furthermore, he pledged to boost Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to produce skilled workers and strengthen industries.
Obi added that there would be collaboration between the government, private sector, and religious institutions in improving vocational training centres, while strengthening moral upbringing and civic education to build trust, good governance, and community cohesion.
