President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged victorious in the APC presidential primaries held in Plateau State after securing 241,720 votes to defeat challenger Stanley Osifo, who scored 303 votes.
The results were announced by party officials following the completion of the voting process across the state. Tinubu’s overwhelming victory further strengthened his position within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the national presidential election.
Supporters of the president celebrated the outcome, describing it as a sign of continued confidence in his leadership and policies. Party leaders in Plateau State also praised the peaceful conduct of the primaries and the high turnout of delegates and party members.
Stanley Osifo, Tinubu’s opponent in the contest, thanked his supporters after the announcement of the results and called for unity within the APC moving forward.
