The results were announced by party officials following the completion of the voting process across the state. Tinubu’s overwhelming victory further strengthened his position within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the national presidential election.

Supporters of the president celebrated the outcome, describing it as a sign of continued confidence in his leadership and policies. Party leaders in Plateau State also praised the peaceful conduct of the primaries and the high turnout of delegates and party members.

Stanley Osifo, Tinubu’s opponent in the contest, thanked his supporters after the announcement of the results and called for unity within the APC moving forward.

Political analysts say the large margin of victory demonstrates Tinubu’s strong influence within the APC structure, especially as the party prepares for future national political contests in Nigeria.
