The head of customs in Qatar has said the country is capable of maintaining the steady flow of goods despite rising tensions in the region.
According to the official, authorities in Qatar have put in place strong measures to ensure that imports and exports continue without major disruptions, even as security concerns grow due to the ongoing conflict involving Iran, United States, and Israel.
He added that logistics systems, ports, and border operations are functioning efficiently, allowing essential goods such as food and medical supplies to reach the country without delay.
The reassurance comes as many countries in the Gulf region face uncertainty over trade routes and supply chains due to escalating tensions, particularly around key shipping lanes.
