President Vladimir Putin says Russia is ready to supply more oil and natural gas to Europe as global energy prices continue to rise amid growing geopolitical tensions.

Speaking during a government meeting, Vladimir Putin said Russia has the capacity to increase energy exports if European countries are willing to resume or expand cooperation with Moscow.

Energy prices across Europe have surged in recent weeks due to uncertainty in global markets, partly linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, which has disrupted supply expectations.

Russia was once Europe’s largest supplier of natural gas before relations deteriorated following the Russia-Ukraine War, leading many European countries to reduce their reliance on Russian energy.

Despite that shift, Vladimir Putin insisted that Russian energy resources remain among the most reliable and affordable options for European markets if political barriers are removed.
