Authorities in Bolivia have captured notorious drug kingpin Sebastian Marset during a police raid.
Officials said Marset was arrested in a special security operation carried out after a long investigation and an international manhunt involving several countries.
Sebastian Marset had been one of the most wanted drug traffickers in South America, accused of leading a major narcotics trafficking network operating across the region.
Security authorities in Bolivia described the arrest as a major success in the country’s fight against drug trafficking, adding that investigations into his associates are ongoing.
