Three Strategies The US Military Will Use To Target Nigeria

Reports from some American newspapers revealed that the country's military has presented President Trump with plans for how to attack Nigeria, following the President's order to the Pentagon's defense committee after allegations of Christians being killed in Nigeria.

The New York Times revealed that the plans consist of three options for how U.S. forces could enter Nigeria, which include:

A massive attack, which would involve sending a special naval fighter fleet to the Guinea coast accompanied by large fighter jets that could launch airstrikes on insurgents in northern Nigeria.

A moderate attack, which would involve sending drones to gather intelligence and launch attacks on insurgent bases, their allies, and their vehicles.

A light attack, which would focus more on providing intelligence, equipment assistance, and conducting joint patrols with Nigerian forces to ensure that Boko Haram and other armed groups are rooted out, as published by the newspaper.

This follows the threat by U.S. President Donald Trump to attack Nigeria over allegations of genocide against Christians.
