"We admitted her to the female surgical ward, and as soon as she entered, everyone covered their noses because of the terrible odor coming from her body.
She is a woman no older than 35, but to see her, you would think she is much older. She has lost all human dignity because of the swelling she has.
We asked her how the illness started. She said it began with a small lump on her breast, which became wet. Then they took her to a traditional healer, who made incisions for her twice.
However, there was no improvement. She asked him if she should go to the hospital. He said the local medicine would work.
Then after two years, her whole body deteriorated. When she was close to death, she made a desperate decision and went to the hospital. Without even going far, they said she had breast cancer.
They performed surgery on her and removed the rotten breast, but a further test showed the cancer had spread to almost everywhere in her body.
In short, she came too late, and now we can only wait for the time."
