In a statement issued on Tuesday, the party’s National Chairman, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, said criminals continued to operate without fear or restraint, creating the impression that Nigerians were living in a country where law and order had broken down.

The statement read: “This reflects the failure, indifference and lack of respect for the people demonstrated by the APC-led administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

The party added that Nigerians continued to lose their lives, livelihoods, properties and freedom daily under an administration it described as detached from the people and incapable of providing relief or solutions to their problems.

The PRP also accused the government of continuing to allocate enormous sums of money to certain groups in a bid to secure their support, despite the country’s worsening security situation.

In conclusion, the party urged Nigerians to speak out against those responsible for killings, kidnappings for ransom, the dispossession of citizens of their property, and others benefiting from the country’s deteriorating security situation.
