The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has presided over the inauguration ceremony of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umaru Radda 2027 Campaign Council (Tinubu/Dikko 2027 Campaign Council).
The governor stated that this occasion represents a new chapter in his political journey and underscores the APC’s commitment to ensuring a prosperous future for Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole. He added that the event is not only the beginning of preparations for the 2027 general elections, but also an opportunity to strengthen unity, renew dedication to public service, and consolidate the progress already achieved.
Addressing party leaders, elected officials, political appointees, and supporters, Governor Radda emphasized the importance of unity and grassroots politics.
"Our strength lies in our ability to resolve our differences, embrace one another, and place the interests of the public above personal ambitions. It is our duty to return to our communities with humility, build stronger relationships with our people, and never take their trust for granted," the governor said.
The governor noted that the campaign will be anchored on the achievements of his administration and the fulfillment of promises made to the electorate.
Quoting the address of the Director-General of the Campaign Council, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, the governor revealed that his administration has already fulfilled over 70% of the promises made during consultations across all 361 wards of Katsina State. He reaffirmed that they will continue to present their achievements transparently while remaining focused on addressing the needs of the people.
Governor Radda expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Government for their continued support and cooperation in driving the development of Katsina State.
As preparations underway for official campaign activities commencing on October 28, 2026, the governor called on all APC stakeholders to reinforce party structures across all levels:

* Local Government Levels
He noted that this would be achieved through inclusive participation, organized execution, and sustained grassroots mobilization.
