The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has called on the people of the state to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 98 percent of their votes in the 2027 presidential election, as a show of gratitude for the development projects being carried out by the federal government in the state.
Uba Sani made this known during the commissioning of 11 road projects in the Zaria and Sabon Gari local government areas. He said Tinubu's administration has supported major road projects and other infrastructure in Kaduna, including the approval of a Light Rail project worth N1 trillion, which he said would commence within the next two months.
The governor also stated that the Mando to Birnin Gwari road project would begin within a week, adding that the president has already released over N100 billion for the project.
He said his administration has launched 150 road projects spanning over 1,355 kilometers, with most of them already completed, while the newly commissioned roads would be finished within five months.
In his speech, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, praised Tinubu for his investments in education and infrastructure in Kaduna, noting that this would increase the number of federal universities in the state to five.
