The Olubadan of Ibadan has warned masquerades and their followers to avoid violence and maintain peace during the Egungun festival celebrations.

He said acts of violence, intimidation, or disorder would not be tolerated, adding that traditional festivals should promote unity, respect, and peaceful coexistence among communities.
