The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has commenced the physical screening and medical examination of shortlisted applicants in the ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment exercise at the College of Peace and Disaster Management, Babbar Riga, Batsari Road, Katsina.
Speaking at the commencement of the exercise, the Controller of Corrections, Katsina State Command, Abdulrasheed Sule, welcomed the applicants and urged them to remain orderly and responsible throughout the screening process. He stated that applicants are only required to present their printed invitation letters for the medical examination and emphasized that the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge. He also advised applicants to be wary of fraudsters and avoid anyone demanding money or promising assistance.
The leader of the Board's delegation, Sanusi Rufa'i Makarfi, reiterated the Board's commitment to conducting a transparent, fair, and merit-based recruitment process. He urged applicants to disregard any individual or group claiming to offer preferential treatment, assuring them that only qualified candidates who meet the required standards will be considered.
