The Organizing Committee of the 2025 World Hausa Writers’ Day Conference wishes to inform the general public (especially writers, scholars, students, and enthusiasts of Hausa literature) that registration for participants will soon close. The maximum number of attendees required to ensure a well-organized and secure event has already been reached.
Thursday, October 23, 2025, has
been designated as the final date for registration.
After this date, no new
registrations or changes to existing registration details will be accepted.
This decision has become
necessary as the committee has begun making logistical arrangements to provide
adequate facilities and comfort for all registered participants, ensuring that
the conference is conducted in accordance with international standards.
The Organizing Committee has made
provisions for:
• Quality accommodation for all
participants who registered on time,
• Hygienic and well-prepared food
and refreshments, and
• A modern conference setting
designed to foster learning, idea exchange, and collaboration with experts from
around the world.
The 2025 World Hausa Writers’ Day
Conference, scheduled to be held in Jigawa State, aims to elevate the status of
the Hausa language and its writers. It also seeks to connect participants with
new technologies, creative techniques, and global trends in writing,
translation, and linguistics.
The Committee appreciates
everyone who has shown interest or completed their registration and extends its
apologies to those who were unable to do so before the deadline.
Individuals who wish to attend
without prior registration may still participate in the sessions; however, they
will not be entitled to accommodation or conference materials.
Further important updates will
continue to be shared through social media platforms and the official
conference website.
