A report by The Washington Post says the number of US troops killed in the war with Iran is at least four higher than the figure officially disclosed by the US Department of Defense, known as the Pentagon.
The newspaper, citing US officials on Friday, reported that the number of American military personnel killed in the war was higher than the figure publicly released by the Pentagon.
According to the report, which was based on information from five officials familiar with the number of casualties at the US Department of War, at least 22 US service members have lost their lives in the conflict with Iran. The figure is four higher than the number officially acknowledged by the Pentagon.
