The gunmen kidnapped Honorable Sama’ila Muhammed Bagudo last Friday, October 31, 2025, at his home in Bagudo, Kebbi State.

In an audio recording shared on social media, where the voice was identified as that of the Deputy Speaker, he was heard telling a colleague, a fellow member of the House, that they have now gathered 150 million Naira, and he pleaded for help in selling his four cars to complete the money demanded by the kidnappers for his ransom.

A source revealed that the kidnappers demanded two hundred million Naira, and it is expected that if the money is paid by tomorrow Friday, they will release him—a story his close associates also confirmed they came across in a hidden advertisement.
