Insecurity is an issue plaguing northwestern Nigeria, despite the government's expressed deep concern over the matter. Reports from Zamfara State indicate that on 09/10/2025, a group of terrorists attacked the town of Doton Daji, killing three Joint Task Force (JTF) security personnel. This incident prompted the security forces (Askarawa) from the town of Mada to launch a recovery operation to retrieve the bodies of those killed by the terrorists. Unknowingly, they fell into an ambush set by the terrorists, which led to the security forces being trapped in the terrorists' encirclement, resulting in the martyrdom of five brave soldiers.
We pray and seek intercession on this Friday; may Almighty Allah accept these martyrs, accept their testimony, strengthen those of us who remain, safeguard our well-being and our lives, grant us success wherever we tread, and bring an end to this calamity of terrorists and their supporters in our regions and the entire nation.
