Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has revealed that he still experiences sickle cell crises, despite living with and managing the condition since childhood.
The award-winning artiste said that he occasionally suffers painful episodes, which often affect his daily life-especially during periods of stress or exhaustion.
Adekunle Gold, who once shared his sickle cell journey through his music, said he hopes that speaking openly about his condition will inspire others living with the disease to stay strong and live positively.
He added that he remains grateful to God and his family for their constant care and support, emphasizing his desire to use his platform to raise awareness about sickle cell disease and how to manage it effectively.
